• The cavern is indeed small. As Nadia walks on, the walls close in tighter and tighter. Soon, the space is too small for the girl to squeeze through. (NT) -- Fate, 15:10:09 01/13/03 Mon
• "Well, dead end. No dragons here." She turns around and goes back to where she started. "Hmm, where would a dragon be?" She looked around and saw a large opening. "Well, small didn't work, how about large?" She ventures there, now having her hand gripped on the sling. (NT) -- Nadia, 17:00:20 01/14/03 Tue
• Nadia hears low grumbling somewhere in the distance. The caves and hallways echo the sound, bouncing it around until all trace of where it originally started from is lost. (NT) -- Fate, 15:32:13 01/21/03 Tue
• The sound makes Nadia take out her sling in terror, and she aimed, looking around, but was unable to see the source of the sound. She put her sling back on the belt and tried to calm her wild heart. "Well, I must be getting close," she thought to herself. "Now where did that sound come from? Where there's a sound, there's got to be a dragon." She looked around and saw a path that seemed to lead downward. With her heart still racing, Nadia ventured there, still with her hand at her sling, ready to pull it out any second. (NT) -- Nadia, 16:00:45 01/22/03 Wed
• She hears the noise again, loud and harsh. Again, it is distorted by the echoes. However, Nadia notices that it seems to be a little clearer sounding down the tunnel that opens up to the right. As she approaches, she can see that the tunnel she is currently in also proceeds forward, and then turns a corner to the left. (NT) -- Fate, 11:50:37 01/25/03 Sat
• Nadia decides to go for the tunnel with the clearer sounding noise, for there just had to be a dragon attached to that noise. Her heart raced faster and faster with each step she took, and she soon was shaking violently as she made her way through the tunnel. (NT) -- Nadia, 19:59:41 01/25/03 Sat
• The tunnel wanders aimlessly through the mountain, turning several times. Eventually it opens to a medium cave. Broken stalactites lie everywhere, and a small pool ripples gently off to one side, but otherwise the room is empty as far as Nadia can tell. (NT) -- Fate, 17:59:25 01/29/03 Wed
• Nadia looks around in the room. "Hmm, why do I hear a dragon and not see one? I can't stand the echoing. It is throwing me off." She walked around the room to make sure there wasn't any more tunnels, then when she was satisfied, she rested next to the pool of water. She felt her stomach growl, and she decided that she would take a small rest and eat. "After all, there's no dragons in here." She opened her knapsack and pulled out some bread and cheese. She ate it delicately and looked into the pool of water. (NT) -- Nadia, 18:08:53 01/30/03 Thu
• The pool ripples again, as if disturbed by a draft of air. Looking up, Nadia realizes that there is an opening in the cave roof situated directly over the water. A light draft of air ebbs into the room from the shaft above. (NT) -- Fate, 15:42:28 02/04/03 Tue
• Nadia drops her food. "Wow, it's amazing how I can miss something so easily. I wonder where that air is coming from." She looked up to try to see anything specific. (NT) -- Nadia, 15:54:03 02/14/03 Fri
• The passage is only dimly lit. The sides of are jagged and porous. Nadia can tell that the opening is on the floor of a passage that stretches right and left of what she can see. (NT) -- Fate, 08:48:42 02/22/03 Sat
• Nadia quickly gathers her things and leaves the room to try to find that path. She goes up a trail and makes it into the room above the one she was in. She looks down and sees the similar pool. She follows the trail that has dim light at the end. (NT) -- Nadia, 15:49:19 03/14/03 Fri
• The passage has a damp floor, and there appears to have been a small rivlet of water flowing down it only a short time ago, probibly the source of the pool in the lower cave. A cool breeze passes gently along it towards the pool. At the other end of the passage there appears to be a large cavern, more brightly lit than most of the caverns. About a hundred feet before reaching the cavern, the sound of slow, heavy breathing is heard coming from it. (NT) -- Fate, 14:59:31 03/16/03 Sun
• When Nadia heard the heavy breathing, she soon felt the most fear that she had ever felt in her life. She was even too scared to run away. Ever so slowly, she tiptoed towards what she thought was a dragon, her hands trembling as she held the sling and a rock. Unfortunately for her, a rock was sticking out of the ground that she could not see and she tripped, scrapping her legs on the sharp rocks. (NT) -- Nadia, 15:25:41 03/20/03 Thu
• Nadia falls just short of the cavern, and from her position she can see it fully. It is lit by a small crack in the roof, from which water drips, though it's likely that it pours from the crack when it rains outside. From its light, it's easy to see that the cavern is indeed very large, perhaps equal to the main cavern back home. But the most eye-catching part of the cavern is the dragon, a dark green one that's on the smallish side, fast asleep to one side of the cavern. It's so asleep, in fact, that Nadia's anti-graceful moment is apparently unnoticed. (NT) -- Fate, 09:09:41 03/21/03 Fri
• Nadia got herself up carefully and gazed at the sleeping dragon. (Rest inside) -- Nadia, 14:42:22 03/22/03 Sat
• For a few moments, there's no response from the dragon, when the quiet sound of scales rubbing on rock signal it's awake, followed by a rather loud yawn. This is quickly followed by the sound of claws on rocks as it gets to it's feet, sniffing the air to try to determine where the echoing flute sounds are coming from. • Nadia hears the noises the dragon makes as it gets up. She slowly gets up from her hiding place, still playing the mellow melody. She let herself be in full sight for the dragon, hoping it would find her as a peaceful person rather than someone trying to attack it, but she was ready to drop her flute and grab her sling at any given moment. She continued to play, watching the dragon very carefully. (NT) -- Nadia, 16:04:52 04/01/03 Tue
  • The dragon cocks his head at Nadia (for, now that he's awake, it's aparent by his mannerisms that he's a he), when the sound of claws on stone attracts his attention to a large tunnel behind him. Out of it another dragon comes with apparent suddeness. The little green male appears to be a meer dragonet compared her large, black form. Spotting Nadia, she gives a look of surprise, but her main focus is on the male. A small hiss of irritation comes from her mouth as she eyes him, not liking him being here. The male hisses back, but seems wary of upsetting a dragon so much bigger than himself. (NT) -- Fate, 09:14:09 04/03/03 Thu
