Just to clarify this ruling

if the ball was never propelled towards the oppositions dead ball it can never be a knock on.

if you as the referee deem the ball to have been deliberately passed forward in the in-goal you must penalise the offending player - 10m out from the goal line in line with the offence.

it is a big call to say that a player has not meant to throw the ball forward in his own in goal when they are obviously trying to gain an advantage but if you feel it was accidental you would rule for the drop out for the infringement in goal.

Big call, didnt see it myself, so i cant give and accurate outcome
