  • Lialye accepts the compliment similar to the way a wall might accept such a compliment. At his question, though, her face hardens into emotionless granite and she becomes very focused on putting things back in her haversack. "I felt like it," she says flatly at last, standing and slinging the haversack onto her shoulder. Suddenly she very, very much wants to leave.
