Subject: A cat mewed from the back of the hallway, and soon Crystaline found that she had a fuzzy little animal circling on her lap, and begging to be fed. He hadn't eaten for a little while!

There was plenty of flour, and other dried items, and a few bottles of wine, a good vintage. She also had some fresh fruits and vegetables, but that still didn't replace her need for filling up the rest of her stores with meat.   • Crystaline jumped slightly when the kitten had landed on her lap, but she laughed and picked him up so that she could stand and walk over to the door. She looked at Faye while stroking the fur-ball in her arms saying, "Do you think that they'll be in much trouble? I certainly hope not! Especially since it really was for our self defense. How were we to know that they had put precautions on the bandit?" She shook her head, and said, "Oh, and by the way, we really are running low on meat, and I heard you say something about it?"
