• Crystaline nodded, and began a fire in her fireplace. "I'm not sure what in the world I'm in the mood for. So, Faye, you choose what to cook." Crystaline sat down, the events of the day before and today rolling over her again like a stone. She sat down, and a blank expression stole over her face. • Crystaline snapped out of it, and she said, "Well, they are going to be back soon, I may as well get things started." Crystaline stood, and got the fire to blaze, and then stoked it down to good cooking coals. She began to prepare slices of ham for cooking, and began to warm up a pan over the fire. She also took a loaf of bread, and cut slices off, and hung them on a convieniantly placed rack that hung above the fire to toast. That done, she began to grill the slices of ham, and also took out eggs from the cold storage, and split them next to the ham. Once everything was done, she put the toasted slices of bread on a platter, and set in on the table, along with ham and eggs on another, intending the meal to become a ham and egg sandwich. • Imaran walked into his home, his nose picking up on the wonderful aroma of breakfast in the morning. "Crystaline, Faye, I'm back!" He called out, and spotted his sister immediately. • Twilight flipped in through the window playfully, landing lithely next to the fireplace. He smiled hugely, caught sight of the food, and swept down on his love, Crystaline. • Twilight looked down at the cat, frowned playfully and swept him up in his arms. He put his nose to the cat's and said playfully, "I know... Doesn't it look just delicious? Sadly though, it's not for either of us, it's for those three. We'll just have to woefully starve away to nothing and watch these goodfolks eat their bellies full... I hope they burst!" • Imaran sat down upon the chair that Faye had taken up with her legs, and began to laugh at the look she gave him. "Crystaline, why don't you allow Twilight to join us?" • "Crystaline! You've gotten soft! After all the hard work to set that joke up, you left me for a guy!" Faye mockingly started to cry and move to hug to knees, when a certain somebody stopped her. • Not miffed by the group's making him the object of their laughter, turned to the next subject with ease. "They simply wanted to tell us more information about the brand they put on him, and how that would protect us." "It's a shame they didn't tell us this earlier, but they said the brand was magical, and it would allow the council to know where the bandit was at all time when he was in Carnerik, and then paralyze him, or something to that effect, if he tried to harm anyone while he was here."
