Subject: Jon's eyes widen at her question. "What do you have?" he asks, with a slightly guilty glance at Mackai and Kaleb as he barely restrains himself from following Aura - literally - on her heels. He keeps a strained distance of about five feet in between Aura and himself, sternly reminding himself that this strange person simply 'was not to be trusted'. But /food/...he hadn't realized before just how incredibly /hungry/ he was....

Splendid! I shall avoid Tess at all costs and shall check out Crown Duel as soon as I have time...and I should probably wait until after I finish reading all of my friend's books, too...I've had five of them since August, and I'm still only about a fifth of the way through the first one...woe is me for having no time...bah.

A little on the romantic side, eh? Lovely. And it's still fantasy, which is even better...and other girls' opinions rating it highly? Marvelous. (Yes. I am female. *gasp!* Fear me!)

  • Kaleb followed Aura much closer than the other two. Mackai kept her distance with Jon. Aura started rummaging through the cupboards and, pulling out various foods, replied, "Let's see...there's some jerky, cheese, bread...I guess I could also make some cookies or if you're really hungry I could go catch us something." As if in response Kaleb's belly rumbled again.
