Author: Jon (sorry, I had to run...that's all I could manage)
Subject: Jon blinks as comprehension dawns. "Oh," he says, relaxing slightly. "Then you aren't going to eat us, after all?"
In reply to: Aura 's message, "Mackai and Kaleb looked very confused as well. Aura looked at them all trying to figure out how to say is simply. "I'm a werewolf." she repeated "My eyes are one way to identify me as such. After I was biten I had no where else to go so I came back here away from all of the people. This is where I come when it's time for me to change. I chain myself up so that there is no chance of my getting loose." She sighed she didn't know why she was telling the children all of this. It had just been so long since she'd had anyone to talk to. No one understood." on 16:07:57 02/06/05 Sun

Terry Pratchett is the author of a bunch of books - the Diskworld Series - that are absolutely hilarious and make fun of anything and everything. They're a cross between sci-fi and fantasy, and they're just hilarious (they do sometimes get a little bit vulgar, though, but on the whole it's not too bad). "Maskerade", for example, is built around a sort of "Phantom of the Opera" plot line and makes fun of both the traditional story and the opera in general (particularly the people involved with the opera). I highly recommend it - just be warned that it does, after all, make fun of stuff (for example: Christine is described as one of those girls who gets filled up on a single piece of celery, has a squeak to her voice that makes everything she says - even a question - sound like an exclamation, and she's one of those ditzy blondes where "you have to constantly keep looking to see if there's actually anything other than air between her ears"...oh, and she can't sing, either).

That's just the beginning. I'd recommend anything in the Diskworld series, especially if you're wanting to read something that's amusing. They can be read in almost any order - there's a couple of sub-series in there, but there's also books that stand entirely independent, like "Maskerade".

Anyhoo...

Yeah, I pretty much got that from your last post. Good, good...

HAHA! YES! We win! I will have to tell my drama class what you said about the plays. Ahahahahahaha!!!!! "Little Shop" was quite possibly our biggest competition during UTA. I feel the same way as you about the storyline, but a lot of people really love it. *shrugs* Oh well. I choose Pimpernel!

Yes...to reply, now...*shifty eyes*...
