Holy smoke! With all this Federal League football intrigue going on Wild Fire, I think that this is a white-hot deal in sorts in terms of travel. The Bulldogs do not always have to travel out of town to other cities except to Youngstown to play either Fitch or Boardman and somewhere in Northeast Ohio to play St. Ignatius. I believe though those tickets were gobbled up (Grove City 1999)was just because the Bulldogs were at the height of their dominance but in 2001, still tickets remained at the doors for the game, they sold out prior to kickoff. However I must praise Perry for renovating their new stadium and getting new seats, BUT Lake had best do something about their seating because with only 5,000 seats in their stadium, only 2,500 Bulldog supporters will be able to fit in that stadium and we both know that Canton McKinley fans always follow their Runnin' Dawgs, but then again I could be wrong. So far I do not have a problem with the stadiums of Hoover, Perry (for now), Fitch, Boardman (how much do their stadium hold) and Jackson. So the Blue Streaks had better do something about their stadium in terms of seating or I will be one unhappy Bulldog. In your words Wild Fire: "Here IS how it IS.....like it or not"...when the Canton McKinley Bulldogs take the field......Federal Express Mailing Co. will have new customers in store for 10 games!!!!! Over and out.

P.S. What about McKinley playing against the other Ohio powers? Will they still be challenged by OTHER powers than just Warren Harding and Cleveland St. Ignatius come Federal League play?

Bulldog memories: When was the last time a fan bawled like a baby after a loss? I'll tell you what: In 2000 when the Bulldogs upset 5th ranked Cincinnati LaSalle, who was also ranked 5th in the nation at 3-0, I cried tears at the 40 yard line after the game, won by the Bulldogs 28-21. I cried for about five minutes taking in Head Coach John Miller's first win as the Bulldogs Head Coach....over a nationally ranked team! Now will he make the others cry tears of joy in beating Massillon come week 10 at Paul Brown Tiger Stadium, or will he produce more tears of heartbreak with another loss to Massillon? GO BULLDOGS!!!!!

Quotable: "Failure can only make you better if you learn from it." -Kordell Stewart, Pittsburgh Steelers QB
