7 on 7 results

The Canton McKinley Bulldogs split their 7 on 7 going 2-2. The Bulldogs dumped Bellaire 21-7 thanks to two Matt Mtichell Touchdown bullets to Dorian Chenault and Christian Smith. Kyle Shaffer threw one also and the Bulldogs pulled out a 7-0 win over Lake in which Shaffer threw a perfect spiral to Tyrone Gillespie that went 42 yards in the closing seconds. The Bulldogs losses though came to Wadsworth 21-0 and a late Strongsville touchdown pass downed the Dawgs 7-0. The defense was a big plus though. They got off to a rocky start but in the end, the defense clamped down. Opposing QB's could not throw the ball at times and Gillespie and Adam Studeny emerged with interceptions including Smith and Kevin Zollicoffer who was all over the field. Camp continues Monday and Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. at Don Scott Field with another 7 on 7 at Fawcett Stadium Wednesday afternoon at 6:00 p.m. and Thursday will be the last camp day at 6:00 p.m. and August 5th will start off two-a-days at Crenshaw Middle School. Wednesday's 7 on 7 will be posted Thursday. GO BULLDOGS!!!!!!!!!!
