Subject: Poem: "she" (free verse)

A seemingly normal girl became the godess of my realm.
In this moment, I did not live life, I let it pass me by.
No song or sonnet has captured this flower's essence. No words to describe her nature. And through all I speak
of her, I spoke nothing to her. I have nothing to
off her besides a stumbling walk through the wreckage
that is my wasted life.
Could she have been the one, or just another one?
I'm at a loss of adjectives to describe her,
or the feeling she gave me as I would sneek a few glances.
I couldn't begin to imagine my happiness were I with her
because I would never approach with swallowed pride,
for I have none.
Not worthy of standing next to her as though
if I were to touch her, i would make her perfect skin dirty.
Although unmade, she had a quality of such perfection
no one in their right mind would refuse her.
A quality thouse in flims even seem to lack.
And the freshness to her spirit which made me look
within my own soul and sit in the middle of
the stagnant waters of my spirit, lifted her even higher
out of my reach.
In plain clothing, striking as an egyptian queen. Hair distorted
yet every strand perfectly placed. Innocent beauty.
Not vain or shallow, but opposite. The depth of
her engulfed me and swallowed me whole. I was paralyzed.
In the midst of a recovery, oh what would it have been were I
whole on that special day. I will never know
Unless one day it shall come to pass.
Until then, her beatiful figure which seemed to be perfectly taylored
for me, has been engrained behind my eyelids like giant
billboards to gaze upon in slumber.
