Hello
I'm hoping you can help me get some information on a black doll I have in my possession. The doll was my mother's , it was purchased around 1948, 1949. The only identifying marking is "DEE GEE" on the back on her neck. My mother remembers that this doll came in a box , maybe a suitcase with two or three different outfits. The outfits are long gone. The doll is aprox 20 inches long, a baby play doll made out vinyl/plastic (I'm not sure). the hair is moulded onto her head. The doll also has blinking eyes if that helps any.
