I have a Black Mammy Doll that seems to be handmade and possibly dated by the material and design to be around 1920's or 1930's. The body is formed with some type of hair. The face is stitched and the clothing is machined stitched and pinned to the body. The doll is approxiamately six inches tall and has no manufacturing markings. Arms and hands seem to be cardboard. I am looking for someone in the Boston area who may be able to identify and appraise this doll. Please contact with any information.
Thank you
