I'm attempting to identify the manufacturer, name, and date made for a small, black baby doll. The body and head seem to be molded plastic, while the limbs are softer like molded rubber. Head and limbs all move, but only at the neck, shoulder and hips; there are no other movable joints. In a seated position, the doll is 7 1/2 inches high. The hair is very dark brown and straight. The eyes are painted on - they do not open and close. Both the nostrils and lips are pink in color. The only markings are on the back, about shoulder height. There is a capital "N" inside a shield and below it is the origin mark, "Made In Japan". There is no clothing with the doll. Based on the age of the lady who owns the doll, I suspect it was manufactured in the late 60's or early 70's. Would appreciate any help in identifying this doll for her.
