Does anyone believe what goes around comes around? I recently spent time with a family that had to take a
break from the pageant world because of an illness. Some young girls that use to be in competitions with this
young lady had started rumors that this young lady was pregnant and had moved in with the father...I find it
strange that when I visited her and her family that there was NO babies and no baby daddy! Still to this day,
these jealous girls still say she is pregnant...so this means she has been pregnant 2 years now!
I am not trying to start crap for this family but I think everyone that knows who I am talking about should know
the truth...Yes the young lady had gained weight due to the depression of the possibility of losing her only
parent...not because she was pregnant! She went as far as selling her brand new car that was paid for to help
pay for her mothers hospital bills and treatments.
I am glad to know that this young woman has made a 360 and will be competing again! Instead of changing
diapers of her "fake" babies, she has gotten back in shape, bought a new car, enrolled at a very prestigious
college getting a medical degree, and is training to make a come back and kick ass once again! I cant wait!!
This "baby daddy" that these girls have been referring to isnt even her life...and hasnt been since March 2001.
She is engaged to a very handsome man that has been at some of the pageants...I believe he escorted her at
OBM in Nov.2000 when she gave up her Grand Supreme title.
I am a strong believer of "What goes around, comes around" and the people that have talked and bashed this
young girl and her family are in for it very soon!

GUESS WHAT LADIES......It is JUST a pageant! Good grief! It is only a judges opinion.....AN OPINION! AND YOU PAID THE ENTRY FEE, SO YOU PAID FOR THE OPINION, like it or not! You win some, you lose some! GO COMPETE IN JACKSON! The kids in those pageants are FROM ALL OVER THE STATE! I sure hope your children do not grow up to act like you. Do your best, that is all that counts!

another state wins it. It is suppose to be Sunday best or pageant wear and pageant wear wins every time.

We were there too, and although I don't always agree with everthing that Linda Sansone does, the fact is, it was a
pageant run by Linda Sansone, not the city of Corinth. The truth is, pageant directors can go into any small town
they want and hold a "Little Miss....Spring, Fall, Christmas Tree, Mississippi, Corinth....whatever they want".As
long as she gives what is on her ppw and the ppw doesn't say closed to Corinth only, ANYONE can come. We
were there from out of town and all of the girls who won DESERVED it. Boo Hoo some good kids came from
out of town to do a pageant (most for practice) and won. Get over it.

i can tell that it is gonna be one big day of competition down in jackson!! there will be all the big names there and then
some! i wish all you'all the best of luck! lol!! we are all gonna need it! but please remember that this is our children and
we are proud of them win or lose, and oh yes, someone is gonna lose. that is the way it is played. but lets relly try and
have a good time!!!

We at America's Model Miss are sorry to announce that our Mississippi Open State Pageant, January 19th in Jackson, Mississippi has been postponed due to extremely low numbers. We have made every effort to contact everyone that expressed interest in this pageant by e-mail, telephone, and now we are posting on-line to try and make sure we have let all you guys know. If we have missed you, we apologize. We plan to make more calls to cover all bases! So if you would, please help us pass the word.

Does anyone know of a good modeling coach that comes anywhere in the vicinity of Mississippi? It could even be in or around Baton Rogue, New Orleans, Memphis. We need one that will be consistent with her visits. I don't want one that comes every other month or two. When you have a young child, they need that constant. It doesn't even have to be a big name coach, just someone that can and will teach a pro-am routine and polish up beauty modeling. Any help would be great thanks!!!

Not a winner. Just wanting opinions because i know that several systems do this and i chose not to compete in those systems because i feel it is unfair to other contestants. I feel that the returning suprmes, queens, etc should do just that return and crown the lucky one that is taking their place. But it seems that all directors and parents begin to get greedy and see only $ signs and start doing what ever they can to bring in more money. Just my opinion, every director is different as you stated. If you don't like the way they run their system do as i do and find one elsewhere

What do you think of directors letting their reigning national queens re-compete? Do you think this is greedy of both the director and contestant? Do you think other children should be given a chance to win? Or do you think it is acceptable for the reigning royalty to compete in the following yrs national? all opinions welcome

Big mistakes made in scores crowned wrong kids. Better compare your scores with anyone you can.

Or were mistakes made 0r did they just give it to who they wanted to and think no one would ever compare their scores?
