Mr. Sheldon manages to transform the spiritual "See the Light" into a percussive party groove, and his own creation, "Rhythm of Love," is a worthy addition to their classics.
The album works because it is versatile; whether it's the quiet-storm instrumental "Fantasy" or the summertime barbeque soundtrack "Serpentine Fire," Devoted Spirits makes EW&F fans love their favorites all over again.
