After 3 weeks with my beloved PC in the repair shop and spending most of this weekend carefully restoring my personal stuff one piece at a time, I now have "wallpaper" of the pic at the top of this Forum (actually the one at top left of the gallery). It fits well in the middle with a light green bar each side for my icons. Only trouble is it's such a super pic I may not get much work done!!
I also replaced the startup sound by a download from Aida's other site. (Find "ctmelody", rename it for backup purposes, and rename your chosen sound as "ctmelody" in the same folder)
Having found out the hard way I can heartily recommend Norton System Works to keep your PC in good order. You just press one "button" after doing anything like this and it finds and fixes any problem automatically. It's cheapest to get it from the QVC shopping channel. Non UK fans will need the internet site, which is www.qvc.co.uk.
Love the new layout!!
