I have spoken with John Cleaveland regarding this event, and, from what I gathered, a definite 'encounter' of some sort is desired near the conclusion of the march. This is just the way I took it...

I've also heard the CSA battalion will be along the nature of invitation only, so to keep the Fed numbers up.

I'm going to email you offline regarding this last bit.
