Trey-

I have two "homespun" shirts. One is a simple civilian shirt that I got from The Homefront (http://gvtc.com/~sjlrbal/#shirts). The other is a Sekela-made mercantile shirt that I purchased through the Jersey Skillet Licker (http://skilletlicker.com/). Both shirts are correct for the 26th and 77th Illinois impressions. As far as quality goes, I'm impressed with both.

Phil and Andy do make a good point about Federal issue shirts: they really are underrepresented in this hobby.
I remember that at Perryville last year the uniform requirements for the 105th Ohio strongly recommended issue shirts. Even with that requirement I don't think I saw more than 10 issue shirts there (I was guilty too). Fortunately, this phenomenon has not gone unnoticed, and there has been some discussion on the Authentic Campaigner boards about the general lack of issue shirts. In fact, in response to this problem, I've heard that the AC will soon be offering issue shirts as one of its "bully buy" sale sometime soon. Depending on who the maker is (Daley perhaps?) I might definitely be interested.

I might add that Corn has some domet flannel and is planning on putting an issue shirt together sometime soon.
