The more I read about this event for next May, the more I like what I read (over at AC site). Although I was born and now live in Texas, I grew up in Mississippi, and would love to do anything there to help preserve the historical sites. I would like to see if this could be added to next year's schedule whenever we have our next meeting.

I know they are looking at minimum donation of $100, and although some may think it is pricey, if we have a year's worth of notice, I'm sure that cutting out a Big Mac or so a couple times a month, for 12 months, could go to this amount.

Besides, with a mess-wide (or close to it) participation there may mean success for us too at Mansfield (as long as the times don't conflict).
