It looks like there will be five of us Austin Red Sock Boys squaring off against the Ground Hornets this weekend. I'm really looking forward to this weekend's living history, and hope that the public comes out in force this time to see what the 15th Texas and the 77th Illinois might have looked like.

Mr. Daniel McCoslin raised a serious issue in his previous message. In particular, he wanted to know if he could be anointed with a special title when posting messages on this board. As the Federal Coordinator for the TMLHA, and by the mighty powers of Graystone, I hereby anoint Daniel "PigPen" McCoslin as "The Almighty Authentic High Private". From now on, his posts will be taken as unquestionable truths. Everytime someone reads one of his posts they should imagine an angelic choir in the background, and try to picture Danny descending through a cloud of dry ice as he imparts his wisdom upon us.

Danny's posts on this board will be locked, so no one else can post a reply to them. As he is the only Almighty Authentic High Private on this board he will have to converse with himself. We, the moderators, shall unlock Danny's threads on the third Friday evening of each month. At that time, and at that time only, you may dare post a question to Danny. Your posts must be about authenticity, authentic events, and how great Danny is. Any deviation from these standards will result in repeated harangues by us, the moderators, against the unwashed farb masses. (Phil Graf, consider yourself harangued already.)

It is hoped that this new system will lead to new and enhanced learning about authentic Civil War reenacting here in the Trans-Mississippi.
