Zimmerman is a prick, he charges alot, and he puts his personal markings on the guns he defarbs.
Lodgewood carries Enfields, and Springfields in stock allready Defarbed at a cheaper price then Zimmerman.
For example.....Lodgewood has allready defarbed 1842's for $520 compared to Zimmerman's $570....That's not much. But it's enough to buy you another important part of your kit.
Company Quartermaster is another excellent deal if you want the Enfield.
As for Cartridges.....I got sick of making my own, so I borrow other peoples now.....
But I do have some tubes leftover from an order from "Irish Joe". He sells 100 pretied 58. cal tubes for $14 and you get them in a few weeks.
All you do then is insert the simulated bullet, pour in the powder, and then do the proper period closing technique(or my fav...a small rubber band:)
