I believe that any reasonable question should be answered without the poster being attacked by a mob of angry assholes.
For instance.....I used to post on the CWReenactors Forum quite often. Oneday a fellow was asking a question about "where can I find the best.......". It was a question that had been asked many times before. But instead of someone helping the guy, he was attacked for being lazy, wasting time, wasting posting space, and a bunch of other crap. The guy was probably new to the hobby, and instead of a warm fuzzy welcome....He was attacked!
Then some stupid wankers got on there arguing that he should by the CRRC so he wouldn't have to ask such annoying questions on the Forum...I'm sure the CRRC is great....But you shouldn't demand people buy it so they won't ask questions!
I seriously believe that Authentics are screwing themselves because they are not willing to help others, and when they post such things, they make the movement look bad. This doesn't go to you guys, or anyone we all associate with. But there are a few hotheads that run their mouths off, and make everything suck.
There are several such post on the AC board right now as well....I guess it's a major offense if you don't post your name and rank......Heaven forbid that...
