I post this just because this thread is timely. As an example of elitist attitudes. I posted a legitimate question about enfield lockplate case hardening on another board. Instead of helpful answers I get, "Oh boy, here we go again" and "You took the words right out of my mouth"

In the time it took them to be a smart-ass, I looked it up and found a suitable answer for myself. So there you go...cliques at work. Yet one of the posts right before mine was "how do I make a tent fly?" I should have responded - "throw it".
