Subject: Fate of board if WB doesn't make it...

First, I'd like to say that I'm not trying to be pessimistic, just realistic just in case, kapish?

I'm sure you all have noticed I'm sort of keeping my head down as far as the campaign goes ~ the first day, I posted various contact info at my site to get things started somewhat, but couldn't get online after that. Today I've put banners for Witchblade Central Station on all my sites [except for The Lost World, but I just didn't get there today] and am doing my fair share of writing ~ but the fans over at Central are doing a spectacular job, and don't seem to need me to do more than that. Having been in the thick of a couple of fan/viewer campaigns, I know how much work goes into them, and I applaud everyone over at Central ~ if you guys need me to do anything else, let me know...

Now, in the event that WB doesn't make it to another season, there have been questions raised about the future of this site and board. I've already stated that the site will remain up [I'd just complete it thru the end of S2, and update stuff about the actors, that kind of thing, maybe add fan fiction, if anyone wanted to contribute], and so will this message board. I did have a thought though, and I'd like to get opinions. I hope by now you all know this site is part of a larger domain, that includes sites for Buffy, Angel, Charmed, The Lost World, Haunted, and soon, the LotR movies, as well as Sanctuary. The Lost World and Sanctuary both have boards, but the others don't. What would you guys think about me linking this board up to the other SolitaryPhoenix sites? Even if only for a few months, to see how it worked out?

I know everyone's really worried about the show, but for us, I think keeping this board's "i-family" together should be a priority as well. I know it is for me. There are people who are still posting who were posting when I first started the site, with the pain in the ass Beseen board. ;) I may not have been here much in the past year, but believe me, I wanted to be. It bothered me greatly that I couldn't contribute, and really maintain the relationships started last year. I very much look forward to the day when we can have a reunion, maybe here in sunny Fla... [yes, that's a hint!], but for now keeping the board fresh and interesting will be one of the factors that keep the board -and by extension the i-family- going. Of course, we'd still discuss Witchblade, but other fantasy/horror/scifi would be fair game as well.

Anyway, please, I'd like to have opinions from pretty much everyone ~ do you like the idea of me opening the board up to discussion about other genre shows, from sites I've created? Let me know, okay? Thanks in advance, my friends...
