Subject: Somewhat OT, but please read anyway. :)

Hi, guys ~ just wanted to let everyone know that I've made updates to several sites, including detailed episode guides for Haunted and Birds of Prey, and added a domain/site index for SolitaryPhoenix. I've started posting news at Sanctuary again, mostly about things that interest me within the genre entertainment world. I've also added a Find A Friend [personals] section - just because one enjoys sci fi/horror/fantasy, do we not need love too? ;) I've never let a man's lack of such a redeeming quality stop me from honoring him with my presence, but it surely would be nice if I could find a guy who enjoys the same kinds of entertainment I do. Just a thought. If you want to check it, or anything in Sanctuary out, please feel free ~ I'd really like to get it going, and I'm going to need help.

All I keep thinking is, if I had the site and organization up and running, as it should be, we could have had fans, not just of WB, but of all different shows, lobbying for a reprieve. That's one of my goals for Sanctuary ~ to organize a database of as many fans of genre entertainment as possible to lobby when needed. For example, I'm a Buffy fan, but I don't watch Stagate. If SciFiChannel decided to pull Stargate, a campaign would be mounted from Sanctuary, and as a member, I would write SciFi to keep Stargate, even though I don't personally watch it. Like that. I also want to eventually distribute genre books to kids that can't afford them, the classics like Dracula and Where The Wild Things Are, depending on age, of course! I want Sanctuary to have fan cons and an e-magazine, and give out awards for excellence, and grants to deserving writers, artists and filmmakers. I want Sanctuary to promote the best and brightest of the sci fi, horror and fantasy fields. Not too much to ask. :) I am definitely going to need help though, so if you'd like, please check it out.
