Last season, someone told us that just as a part of the symbolism -- the WB being a branch of the tree of knowledge from the Garden of Eden -- that the set designers were purposely putting an apple in each show. Where / when / how / they were leaving it up to the fans to find it.

So we began running our tapes in slo-mo trying to find the apples.

THIS season the apple in every show has been replaced with a fish. Offhand, I'm assuming the fish has something to do with Christianity and Jesus being a fisherman, but I haven't actually heard a definitive as to why the fish is being used.
