3. "Lebre" (1788-1821) — Bergantim de 24 peças que foi lançado à água em Lisboa em 16 de Outubro de 1788.
Era cúter no estaleiro, mas foi botado ao mar já como bergantim.
Devido às suas grandes dimensões, era conhecido por Lebre Grande, para o distinguir de outro do mesmo nome de 1798.
Empregou-se principalmente na guarda-costa.
Em 1816 tomou parte na campanha do sul do Brasil.
Em 1821 foi desmanchado no Rio de Janeiro.

Brigantine of 24 guns which was launched at Lisbon on October 16, 1788.
She was a cutter on the stocks, but was changed after launch to a brigantine.
Appropriately for her large dimensions, she was known as Lebre Grande (large Lebre), to distinguish her from another of the same name of 1798.
She was principally employed in the coast guard.
In 1816 she took part in the campaign in southern Brazil.
In 1821 she was broken up at Rio de Janeiro.
