San Eugenio 76 took part at the battle of Cape Spartel on 20 October 1782, with the Howe's fleet.

“Historische-politische magazin”, Vierter Jahrang, Siebenter Band, #1, Hamburg, 1790 gives a list of Spanish fleet on 15 May 1790 (pp. 665-670), which includes San Eugenio 74 of the Ferrol squadron, with mentioning “building”.
