The Demerliac statement that Illustre and Auguste were exchanged wasn't in my sources. But logical.

Ron, thanks for the addition. I have been looking for a copy
of P. Vermeulen's: 'De schepen van de Koninklijke Marine en die der Gouvernementsmarine' (1962), but had no success.
(Only some scans on a forum for individual vessels)

I only have J.M.Roches Dictionnnaire de la Flotte Française de 1671 a nos Jours.
He (ofcourse) has had access to Demerliac, but his histories for Dutch (Batavian), Italian, Portuguese, Spanish and other captured ships are often incomplete.

And as for the Royal Navy, histories of ships after 1815 to 1865 are often very limited.
