I can not find a list of the Anglo-French fleet in 1673 in anything in my personal library. John Campbell, Naval History of Great Britain, Including the History and Lives of the British Admirals (London: John Stockdale, 1813), II, 210n, says, “See ‘The Exact Relation,’ &c. In this piece we have not only the most authentic, but, I believe, the only authentic account of this engagement, now extant. Prince Rupert’s letters were usually published, but what he wrote on this occasion, was not judged convenient for the people’s perusal. The Dutch narrations were calculated to serve a turn, and that penned by M. de Martel for the information of the French king, was for many good reasons suppressed.” A large amount of 17th and 18th century English printed matter has been digitized in the last few years; that’s my source for Campbell. Digitized 18th-century British naval histories that I have but that do not include ship lists either include John Entick, Naval History: Or, Complete View of the British Marine (1757); George Berkley, The Naval History of Britain (1756); and Frederic Hervey, The Naval History of Great Britain (1780). The Allied order of battle with ship names and gun counts, officer names, and perhaps nominal crew numbers, might be found in contemporary publications like the “Exact Relation” or others. They might be available in the Goldsmith-Kress’s collection, formerly on microfilm (and probably still available in that form at the libraries that had acquired it) and recently digitized. The microfilm version should be available at the libraries of major research universities and at national libraries like the British Library and the Library of Congress. The digitized version would probably have to be accessed at such a library that pays for access fees.

On the other hand, if Anderson could not figure out the English organization in the early 20th century, it probably was not published in 1673.

Since I am now considered to be a "spammer" by this site, this will be my last attempt to answer any questions here.
