Hi,

Mr Parker just pointed out that the above figures were unclear as to whether they represented the ship shooting or the ship receiving the shot. The above is from the point of view of the shooter (i.e. if the Shannon had 13 32 pound carronade shot hit on the hull then the Shannon fired 13 32 pound shot which hit the Chesapeake between the water line and the underside of the spar deck.

Sorry for the lack of clarity.
