Winfield, 1793–1817—No index entry for a "Bien Aime."
Colledge, v. 1—No entry for a "Bien Aime."
Here's why:
Lyon, p. 260 under "Unregistered vessels":
Bien Aime 1793–1794 (French Bien Aimé?_____Indiaman) sloop 20 guns.
French Indiaman taken at Calcutta 1793; 1794 BU

I'm not familiar with the Compagnie des Indes in this time period. Demerliac, Louis XVI, has a section on the "Nouvelle compagnie des Indes" with no "Bien Aimé" listed. The name is an obvious holdover from the ancien régime, being an aspirational epithet for Louis XV. It's possible that word of the execution of his grandson had not gotten out to Calcutta when the ship in question might have been captured. Demerliac, Révolution, has an entry for a 1797 Guadeloupe privateer; was Guadeloupe in the hands of royalists that that time?

The vessel captured at Calcutta in 1793, and apparently found unserviceable, was probably an "Indiaman" only in the sense of a private ship that had been making voyages to the Indian Ocean or China. It might even have been a "country vessel," a French ship engaged in trading within the Indian Ocean but not making voyages to Europe.
