Armament : 32 x 32pdr, 32 x 24pdr, 14 x 32 pdr carronades, 2 x 18pdr, 3 x 32pdr carronades; 1855: 4 x 68pdr Paixhans, 60 x 32pdr Paixhans
Complement : 573 + 105 marines or 650
Design : Manuel Clemente de Barros and Joaquim Jesuino da Costa

Launched as Cidade de Lisboa. Dismasted during a gale when entering Rio de Janeiro harbour 1849.In 1858 she was part of an expedition to Angola.Training ship 03.08.1863-15.09.1865 of Naval Artillery School. Sold in Lisbon to be broken up as useless 16.08.1873 to Compahnia Previdente, which reported 29.04.1876 that the ship was bropken up at Boa Vista.
