Thanks. I was wondering if it was just the ship construction or a complete revision from the galley support model Mr Yener describes to a deep water fleet model, or just westernizing construction practices.

There was a discussion earlier about the Bandi Zafir (probably butchered, the larger frigate in the fight with the Seahorse, 1808? or so?) that seemed that the frigate was overloaded with guns. But a data point is not a trend.
