WARFARE THROUGH PRAISE

The Bible has much to say about praise deafeating and driving back the powers of darkness. Second Chronciles 20 tells the story of Jeshoshaphat, who was facing an emeny. Instead of sending out soldiers with swords and spears against them, he sent out "those who sang to the Lord and those who praised Him in holy attire, as they went out before the army and said, "Give thanks to the Lord, for His lovingkindness is everlasting. And when they began singing and praising, the Lord set ambushes against the sons of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir, who had come against Judah; so they were routed' (11 Chron. 20:21-22). As Jehoshapat's Praise warriors raised thier voices to God, angles were sent to defeat a physical foe. The physical enemy was defeatd because unseen ememies were scatterd by the power of praise.
