The above Census Record shows clearly unlike family lore that has told of the father of Charles W. Jackson being from Texas, he was actually from Canada and his father was from England. As is always the case in Genealogy, the search will continue. This paternal line is Y-DNA R1b1b2, which is what I have been tested as being at Family Tree DNA.
