>well i have had two episodes of pain in my gall bladder (i have been told) for this year, really painful, but not often. prior to this year, i had the pain 5 years ago. anyway, they said they found gall stones and polyps in the gall bladder and they want to remove the gall bladder, i am not only scared, i believe not only was i healed recently, but i believe there should be another way to get around this, i am terrified of trying to remove something , i want second opinions and stuff and i am unsure, should i go ahead, the results say i have cholecystolithiasis and that the bile duct has a tranverse diameter of 3mm. i am to do this on wednesday 10/24/02

Hi Monique,
I believe too there must be a better way. I am still runnning around at the moment with my gallbladder. I've seen the specialist, and his view is the GB doesn't look cancerous and regardless of the pain he was happy to see what happens for a while. The next step if pain was still there to do an endoscopy. Meanwhile I've changed diet and been on naturapathic methods. Mora machine and herbs, my pain has been decreasing steadily. I ended up doing the endoscopy and nothing was found in the stomach and duodenum areas that could account for pain.
I've had a CT scan that shows all ducts appear to be healthy and my liver healthy and no lithiais of the gallbladder.
I continued with better diet, Mora and herbs. my pain today is vague and barely noticeable. Although lately my diet has been suffering again a bit due to overwork and lack of time. I've been trying to maintain an "alkaline" based diet as much as possible. I've still got to work on more exercise now that the pain has reduced so much. I will still be monitoring the GB with doctor and ultrasounds, will soon have a review with the specialist.
Anyway best of luck..
