Hi ya,

As you have not mentioned pain along with the polyps I have to assume there is no pain. My thoughts are to improve your diet with the aim to improve your bile quality and hopefully to restore the gall bladder to a healthy organ. Do this by concentrating on alkaline based diet and drink more water. Upto 2 litres of water in addition to what you normally drink (such as softdrinks) etc. Try to cut down altogether if possible on coffees, teas and dairy products. Supplement calcium with tablets. Basically remove or cutdown on any foods that makes the liver work harder or causes the stomach to manufacturer more acid. So it includes cutting down or out alcohol. Coffee, teas and lot of other non-water drinks actually have duiretic qualities and drain more water from your system. A herbal tea I have is Dandelion tea it is a good replacement for coffee and is also good herb for the liver. However, it does have some duiretic qualities too.

Perhaps see a herbalist and get some help with improving the liver bile production. There are different ideas on what may help but polyps are sheaths of flesh which may have an imbedded piece of cholesterol. It is unlikely that the cholesterol (if there is any) can be broken down until the flesh decides to go.

It is important to lower your stress levels and to get more exercise. Then pray to God that you are heading the right direction and for what he has already given you :-)

cheers.. Ron..

Hello,

I have my gall bladder with polyps still in. I don't drink alcohol or caffine beverages and i don't smoke. I admit that i eat greasy foods and thats what gives me attacks. I double over and usually need to vomit sveral times before the pain settles down. I have had 3 attacks in 5 days. Once to the hospital for morphine and gravol i.v. and once to the doctors office for the same. Should i keep my gall bladder? I have started eating only liquids like soup, jello, pudding and water and light juices. I can't believe it and i am craving all the bad stuff. I also suck on candies when i need a sugar fix instead of actual candy/chocolate. IDEAS??

My specialist indicated that vomiting etc is not good. How big are the polyps? You do need to have the gallbladder further looked at, one reason could be because it has started to go bad. If it is bad or the polyps are near the 1cm or longer I would seriously consider removal of the gallbladder or find a surgeon willing to excise them. Excising only the polyps is only worth chasing if the gallbladder hasn't gone bad. I am sure that technically it is possible, but at present no surgeon that I have noticed can be bothered. After all they can go right up to the heart via arteries and mess around inside arteries and do polyp removal in colons etc. So in my opinion they could do the gallbladder.
The risk for you now is that the possibility of cancer is much higher if you have longer polyps.

Outside of that you need to find out what does provoke vomiting and what doesn't. Do the Liver flush it will be probably difficult but hey you got to give it a go b4 you give up. I would also consider starting a VEGAN diet, assuming you can keep it down. Vegan diet eliminates EGG and similar animal products which some VEGETARIANS still include. Supplement the diet with minerals.

U may not get this but if u do good luck..
