Subject: Woosnams- Where did they go?

Still wondering what happened to my grandad's aunts and uncles who went from Liverpool to Australia.
Mary Harriet Woosnam (Cissie) b.1861 Cheshire UK
Selina Woosnam b.19th March 1866 Birkenhead Cheshire
Charles Isaac Woosnam b.22nd August 1871 Birkenhead (supposedly killed down a gold mine)
Annie Gertrude Woosnam b.1873 Birkenhead
Alfred Mather Woosnam b.1879 Tranmere/Birkenhead.
Alfred joined the Australian army for WWI and enlisted from Townsville, Qld. This is the only clue we have. They are all brothers and sisters, three other siblings stayed in UK, including my g.grandmother, who was going to go to Australia but fell pregnant with my grandad's older brother. He was born in 1900 so we are assuming if this story is correct then this is about the time they emigrated, However Alfred is the only one we can find on the 1901 UK census. If anyone can help we would be very grateful and yes, we are from the long line of Francis's from Llandinam Wales, which seem to be quite well researched now. Thank you - Jo
