Subject: Hello Australia - - Denmark calling

In 1879 my grandfathers older brother emmigrated from
Denmark to Australia.
Via London he arrived at Melbourne May 1. 1879
with the ship ”S. S. Sorata”
His name was Julius Carl Christian Hagemann
and he was born Dec. 4. 1859 in Denmark .
He stayed 9 years in the state of Victoria, and
about 1888 he moved to New South Wales.
In 1907 he applyed for certificate of naturalization
and in the application he states his adress as.
”Hillston” 66 Albion St., Annandale, Sydney, New South Wales
at that time he had merried, and had 3 children ( 1 son, 2 daughters )
The certificate was issued Jan. 29. 1907

If annyone knows anything about this famely, I would be very
happy to hear from you. - - please
