MY GGGRANDFATHER ARRIVED IN CAIRNS IN 1875 HE WAS A SAILOR. TO MY KNOWLEDGE HE WAS A PIONEER IN THE CITY OF GLADSTONE AND CAIRNS. HE WAS BORN IN JUNE 1838 DARTFORD,KENT,ENGLAND. HE MARRIED 3RD AUGUST1866 IN GLADSTONE Q. TO MARYJANE BLACKBURN,SHE WAS BORN APPROX.1849 IN MONAGHAN,IRELAND. HIS PARENTS WERE WILLIAM ROBERT RHODES & ANNE BISCOE-PITCOE. CAN ANY ONE HELP ME OUT?
