...this question myself and just tried it.
It seems to work. But i have still some problems.
In the router's configuration i typed a regular username and password from a user on my linux pppoe-server.

I sniffed the networktraffic and saw, that the discovery worked fine. But i don't really have a clue, how ppp works.
After the discovery come a few packets, that etheral types as PPP LCP. ok actually this sequence ends with something like configuration ack. so i don't care what it really is, as long as it is acknowledged :-)
after this step, there is a PPP PAP authentication request with my username and password in it. both are correct.....but i wonder, why they are transmitted in plaintext.....
This request is answered with an Auth-NAK.
But why?

Where do I have to configure these accounts?
Can anybody help me please?

Thanks
xray
