Can't help with that specific ISP since I'm in California, not Germany, but on the off-chance you still need this,or if someone else searches looking for solution, I found an easy one by editing
/etc/ppp/pppoe.conf
though likely in another location (I'm using puppy linux). You'll find it is pretty self-explanatory if you open the file and read through it. Then call
#pppoe-start
from a startup script. Try
#which pppoe-start
to find where all the files are so you know what else you can do, you have a number of scripts you can call in addition to pppoe-start (i.e. pppoe-status, pppoe-stop, pppoe-sniff etc.). In my case they are in /usr/sbin/

This does NOT, however, open the tkpppoe gui, though it makes a connection. Puppy comes with a nice taskbar connection/traffic indicator called blinky, so I don't really care. Also, you can't then open the gui and stop the connection, though you can kill it from command line or script.
Hope this helps you or someone,
Fitzhugh

Spam email robots are getting too smart and will only get smarter and smarter as more people obscure their addresses in this kind of manner. I don't want them to grab my email when scraping old archives of posts five years from now. In this case you have to assume the pages will be there forever and the robots will get better and better. Just a thought.
