In Mandrake id is located in /bin/id, not /usr/bin/id. You may have to modify the script to tell it where your id is. You can type "id" at the prompt to make sure you have it (you almost certainly do), then do "which id" to find out where it is. Then modify the script that is looking for it in /usr/bin to point to the right place.
