i know this is kinda sentimental, but we had a Golden Retriever for 4 years and i would feel safe putting her in a room with a newborn. they get along well with other animals, are not overly territorial or protective. this pretty much goes without saying, but they luv ya unconditionally. they are extremely obedient and smart, quick on the uptake and all. hmm, okies i'm like rambling and getting a bit mushy cuz i miss my puppy very much. anywho, hope that helped and junk!
