I agree to a large extent. That was his cultural upbringing, that money is a natural force, that anything that generates more revenue is inherently good, etc.

I had feared that the time to stop the war had passed, but it may not be so. My greatest fear was the use of a high-altitude nuclear burst for the EMP effect. If we EVER use WMDs first, that will be very unsettling to the rest of the world and distrust will grow.

America has a lot to fences to mend, and following the old white path of destruction is not the answer. Never has been.
