Think hard of govt policy pls!!
SHouldn't we get things one by one instead of a whole basket of goals?
Being leaders though, can you take these madmn?
(1) i do not agree agitation for public housing at that moment.
(2) i do not agree agitation for SM rites,
(3) i support agitation of domestic partnership first
instead of marriage)

Just clicked on the lesbian pages, some of the leaders of the lesbian movement (GAY) has almost quarreled with each other.
That's a shame!
Being leaders -
A shame not to cooperate!
A shame not to let your ego down!
A shame not to fight for the best interests to the gay community , or simply fight it in a wrong way!
A shame not to know the wants and fears of the community.
A shame not to know the underlying policy and why SM (not a popular peferences)was not generally allowed in all kinds of societies . (thus some of them was arrested of the SM march on the street not long ago)
A shame incapable to justify why incest was not allowed but SM and gay should be linked (poor us all)and allowed as proposed.
A shame not to know why your agitation would be banned if demanded too much on getting the resources from the majority in the very beginning.(eg public housing)
A shame not to know "the only way to be accepted is - not to be rejected much."
So, the goal ,the policy, the means, the implementation should be clearly and wisely laid down & enforced by common all. (all groups)
To get public housing has hit the heart of the general gay world but unfoortunately it has hit the heads of the general public at the same time. It's the conflict of interests. WHICH SIDE do you think if you were the gov't would cling to? The gov't 's goal to PROTECT the minority has always been validated with a requisite: no objection from the majority. That's their root of their policy. (So, disabled, hsewife, age was thus protected, but not gay group)
Shouldn't we agitate one by one of it instead of getting it in a whole basket?
I think, domestic partnership (another form of marriage as recognized in Canada and somewhere else) should be agitated first.

To act or not to act must be considered carefully enough- not to (1) put yourselves in jail and also not to (2) put bad image on gay people.
To get a kick on those fighters to justify your rightiousness without letting them go is not good either. Critics should be done in private local community in an open way rather than showing the ununited and divided powers to people out there.

I have no leadership quality and no time sparing on it though, i have made an arrangement for 3 major sectors of lesbian leaders to meet in my cafe long ago. I have provided the place for them to get an united goal and policy , to lawfully agitate for gay rites (such as whether or not to agitate for beinig added a subject under the discrimination ordiance or domestic partnership /marriage etc...) , i wasnt there but i just informed that ,however,they did not all show up. One group of three was absent. It's the Rainbow Group. I have no idea of why was that. Maybe i was not the person to hv a position to be involved into it as they hv thought. I have tried to avoid from gossips and so i refrained from joinning , but only provided the place for meeting. The other leaders of the two groups were so willing & enthusiastic to join to talk about that , however, the meeting was not sucessfully conducted.
The two groups seemed very much against the acts of the Rainbow Group these two yrs. I am not sure of it, but the Rainbow Group has always their ways.
As my the funny lectuer in Criminal Law has stated, there has been a decriminalization of the homosexual affairs (of the male.. female is not in the range cos it's not criminalized ) in the 90's. Sucessfully agitated by the previous adorable leaders.
Let's see what's going on there now and what 's the fruits of any activity of gay movement .
