在我的”長大”過程中，甘甘或當時（九十年代中後期）她所代表的姊妹同志是我的精神icon，當時孤獨的我因為姊妹同志因為甘甘和當時其他一起搞姊妹同志的很正的女人們，我不再孤獨，我得到力量．所以，甘甘和姊妹同志對我來說代表了一些非常重要的東西，也carry了我過去一段非常重要的回憶．

只是，甘甘是我們心目中的fighter也好，什麼icon也好，她也有自己的成長歷程，有自己不同時期的agenda，有她自己的做事方式或策略．我們對她的期望或projections，只能是我們各自的好意，如果強加在她身上，覺得她非要以某種身份出現以某種形象示人或一生都需為同一個別人希望她完成的目標而奮鬥，那麼，我們是太不尊重她的個人意願了．

我相信甘甘，她有她的做事方式，把某個身份貼在額頭上不代表那個人會為我們做些什麼有良心的事情，不把某個身份宣之於世，也並不代表那個人”忘記”了我們．

我很高興一個如甘甘這樣的外形，有著這麼一段歷史的人可以在區選中勝出，這無論在gender rights and sexual rights方面都已經非常令人鼓舞．

甘甘和姊妹同志一樣，對於我個人意義重大，但我不希望我個人的projection和期望把甘甘釘死在一個位置上．

給甘甘一些空間吧，她是我們某些人的icon，但她也是一個屬於她自己的個體，以她自己的方式和她自己感到忠於自己的身份面對世界．

身份本來就是很複雜的事情，我愛女人，但我對lesbian的label感受不到很大的親切感．

甘甘沒有離棄我們，我相信此時此刻，她在用自己的方式．
