[> [> Subject: Melyssa looked stunning last year... she'd be a great pic for Indiana :) And IN has one of the highest rates of former Teens winning Miss... (not that I think that that is a defining feature, Melyssa could/should win easily, former Teen or not)

There's a reason Serene placed 4th last year in Minnesota. She has a terrible personality and the judges couldn't help but see that!

[> [> Subject: Karissa will be competing in Maine for 2009 (that's confirmed). She has residency in ME and NY. Ashley won't be able to compete because of the racy Maxim photos she posed for. She was going to compete for Maine MAO this year, but backed out.

[> [> [> Subject: Yippee if your info is correct, Karissa is beautiful. But why would Marbles sexy pics prevent her from competeing? This years Miss Maine usa worked in a strip club, this is common knowledge , & she was able to compete & WIN! Whats the difference?

love Staplels BUT i still think Mable will win

[> [> [> [> Subject: Kaetlin didn't strip...she was a waitress and that was long before she competed and won. Ashley has some topless photos out there and MAO WILL NOT tolerate that. She isn't planning on competing in USA at all. Karissa is though and will def win!

Author:
If she lives in NY, why come back to ME all the time? Not worth it. Go for NYUSA Karissa, you'll be better!

[> [> [> [> Subject: I couldnt agree more, it comes down to a quesyion of numbers, in new York there are 100 girls entered, where as in maine there are like 10 every year. but if you think about it she didnt win in such a small group of girls, Could she win in a large group?

[> [> [> [> [> Subject: Her roots are in Maine so that's where she wants to compete. She'll win Maine no doubt. There are atleast 20 who compete in Maine each year, to be accurate. She really was the more natural speaker as opposed to Kaetlin who is robotic. Had Karissa been more glamorous on stage, she would have won.

[> Subject: I am going to say my choice for Texas this year is Candace Campfield. Wish her all the best and hopefully this is her year! And in fact Candace and Brooke may very well be the last two standing. Just don't think it is Brooke's time yet. And with Val's weight situation every year I never know what too say until I see her or her pictures. But Val is a super sweet person.

[> [> Subject: I am so excited to see Candy Campfield!!! I thought she was done-done, but if she's going for it again, then I'd be crazy not to keep my eyes on her. Maybe Candy can finally grab the title and if Texas wants to crown someone who has "paid their dues" then Candy is one to watch, but I'd love to see Brooke or Brittany win as well.
