Subject: Please Try To Keep Your Responses In The Thread They Belong

If you're responding to what is said in a post- keep it in the thread it belongs, fer chissakes. I only mention it because this "I gotta be right on the front page and take up 5 screens worth of room on the page" thing is getting a bit out of hand.

If I have to C&P the thing and put it where it belongs myself, that's what I'll do. Expect it.

As far as you Burton- hey baby, you can do whatever you want.

Deb, IMHO, I don't think there is anything wrong with a regular post reminding people of "the rules of netiquette for bulletin boards"
1. Read/Scan the whole board before POSTING. Remember the chronology is from bottom to top.
2. If something inspires you to respond, then REPLY to that specific message. It should be obvious what requires a new POST.
3. When replying, delete the original post (or only keep parts critical to your response). This saves bandwidth and makes messages easier to read.
All these things make the board more enjoyable for everyone and helps prevent good threads from going to archive prematurely. I'm replying to Debbie's request with all due respect to my fellow fans and with the benefit of nearly 10 years experience on the web.

My most favorite line in a Guess Who song is "If things don't start looking up pretty soon.....I'm going home..."
